KATHMANDU, May 2: The registration of nomination papers has ended for the local poll in 283 local levels including metropolises, sub metropolises, municipalities and rural municipalities in province no 3, 4 and 6 on Tuesday.
The local level election is going to take place after 20 years with a new federal set up. As per the new modality, the local level is getting local government with legislative, executive and judicial rights.
The nomination began at 10 in the morning and concluded at 5:00 in the evening. Here are the lists of candidates for four metropolises of the country:
