They have actively taken to naming such sign boards in ethnic languages in all four districts in Mechi -- Jhapa, Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung. In the forefront of the drive is the Limbuwan Rajya Parishad represented by Sanjuhang and Paluwang.

At various places in Jhapa, especially in the bridges and culverts, signs such as “Limbuwan Rajya” and “welcome to Limbuwan Rajya” written in Limbu language can be seen. “This is a search for originality and identity,” said President of Sanghiya Limbuwan Rajya Parishad, Sanjuhang Palungwa.
After the success of the People´s Movement, the outfits had also imposed ethnic language sign boards in the public transport and outside the walls of the public offices.
