According to the Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, Jageshwor Ray was killed on Wednesday morning after being struck by lightening. His hay-roofed house was also burnt in the incident.
Similarly, Buchchi Devi Rajak, 22 of Parasbati-1, Saptari and Sami Devi Sardar, 50 of Shambhunath-6 were struck by lightening on Tuesday evening, killing them both.
Two goats and as many buffaloes were also burnt to death in the incident.
