KATHMANDU, Jan 31: The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country today with chances of light snowfall at some places due to the influence of the Westerly low pressure system.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the hilly regions of Province 1 and Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces will witness partly to generally cloudy conditions while some places in the high hilly and mountainous regions will get light snowfall due to the impact of this weather system.

On Tuesday, it will be partially to generally cloudy in Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces.
Light rain is forecast at a few places of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places of the Madhes and Lumbini provinces. The Division stated that light snowfall is also likely at few places of the high hilly and mountainous region on Tuesday.
