Light rain and snowfall predicted in mountainous areas today

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Nepal is facing partial impact of the westerly wind.

According to the Weather Forecast Division, the mountainous areas of the country, including those in the Koshi Province will see partial changes in the weather and the remaining provinces will have general weather.

Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini shared that light rain with thunderstorm and lightning is likely to take place at one-two places of the mountainous belt with partial changes in the weather across the country today.

He further informed that snowfall is predicted at one-two areas of high mountainous and hilly territories of the country.

Kathmandu's wind temperature is measured at 17 Degree Celsius, the Division said. Kathmandu has a maximum temperature between 25 and 27 Degree Celsius.

Likewise, the country will see partial changes in the weather in the night, the Division said.
