Life insurance business expands by 16.05 pc, non-life insurers settle for 6.77 pc rise

Nepal Life Insurance, which collected Rs 48.03 billion in premium, stood at the topmost position among the individual life insurers. The amount was 17.59 percent more than the amount collected in the previous fiscal year when it stood at Rs 40.85 billion.

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Nepal’s life insurance companies witnessed impressive growth in their businesses in the last fiscal year (FY) while non-life insurers had nominal increases in their premium collection.
