KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has said that the voters should elect qualified people to make the country's future bright.
Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 108th birth anniversary of the founding leader of Nepali Congress Ganesh Man Singh on Thursday, he said that it is necessary to emphasize that the representatives elected by the people in the upcoming election on November 20 must protect the constitution issued by the Constituent Assembly, institutionalize it and move on the path of progress. He said that the Democratic-Left Alliance led by the NC will win the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) and provincial assembly elections and start developing the country. He also urged all the voters to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections. "The results of the democratic-left alliance led by the Congress show that we are in the election field," he said. "I request everyone to vote." Choose for the good of the future. Let's make good use of the right to vote,” he added.
Singh, who is also a candidate for the HoR from Kathmandu Constituency-1, said that an alliance will be needed to strengthen inclusiveness and democracy. He said that it would be a true tribute to Ganesh Man Singh to continue the development work in the future while ensuring and protecting the rights gained from the struggle.
