Leaders meet at Norwegian Embassy

KATHMANDU, May 7: The leaders of three main political parties on Friday evening held meeting at the residence of Norwegian ambassador to Nepal Thor Gislesen at Bhainsepati.



Krishna Bahadur Mahara and C P Gajurel of UCPN (Maoist), Bharat Mohan Adhikari of CPN-UML and Ram Chandra Poudel and Dr Ram Sharan Mahat participated in the meeting coordinated by the European Union.



According to NC Vice President Poudel, the leaders held discussions as to how they could forge consensus on the Maoist demand for government change. Poudel said they, however, did not arrive at consensus.
