KATHMANDU, Nov 23: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the current disputes in the judiciary should be resolved through talks.  

Talking to media persons briefly at the Janakpur Airport today, Nepal was of the view that a dialogue was the appropriate means of finding a solution to every problem.  

Delay in addressing the issue had sent a negative message to the public, he said, adding that discussions on the topic were held already with the Prime Minister. He was hopeful that the issue would be sorted out soon.  

According to him, the existing five-party political alliance will go on till the upcoming election and an agreement has already been reached to have an alliance in the upcoming National Assembly (NA) elections. “Discussions are being held regularly to continue the alliance in the House of Representatives, provincial assemblies, and the local level elections as well,” he reiterated. 

Furthermore, Nepal said that it would be better to hold the three-tier election simultaneously to reduce the election cost.
