Leader Koirala opines for changing party leadership

CHITWAN, April 9: Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has said that the NC could not witness progress unless leadership was changed.

CHITWAN, April 9: Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has said that the NC could not witness progress unless leadership was changed. 


In a press meet here today, leader Koirala added that the party organization remained ineffective due to passivity of leadership. He further criticized the party leadership saying that it remained ineffective to mobilize the party mechanism. He said "President failed to nominate the officer bearers even after two years as it should have done within two months."

Leader Koirala further urged the leadership to run the party following the statute. 

On another note, he termed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's recent visit to India as only ritualistic adding that there was no any notable achievement contributed by the visit. 


He also said that the national economy was ruined by the communist Finance Ministers rather than the Ministers representing from his party.
