Leader found in possession of Charas

PARSA, July 25: Political leaders are considered role models. But what people can expect from them when they themselves take the law into own hands.

Miya of Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan City 14 was arrested by Parsa police for possessing drugs (charas) on Sunday night.



On a tip-off that he was dealing in drugs, a team of police from the Crime Control and Investigation Branch of the Parsa District Police Office raided his home at Sirpur and found 500 grams of charas at him home, said DSP Rabindra KC.



Quoting his statement, DSP KC said that he bought the drugs for medicinal purpose. The District Police Office is preparing to file a case against the arrestee.
