Leader Dahal and Nepal have given their word to PM Deuba to ratify MCC: Chairman Oli

KATHMANDU, Feb 26: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal have given their word to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to vote in favor of the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) grant agreement.

KATHMANDU, Feb 26: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal have given their word to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to vote in favor of the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) grant agreement.

Speaking at a program held at Kathmandu on Saturday, Oli claimed that Chairman Dahal and Nepal were woried that their alliance would crumble down as the NC approached his party to discuss ratification of MCC from parliament.


Chairman Oli also clarified that he had tabled the MCC proposal in parliament when he was the Prime Minister and urged people's representatives to take a necessary decision on MCC.
