KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Lawmaker belonging to Samajbadi Party Nepal Surya Narayan Yadav has stepped down from the House of Representatives of the Parliament citing health issues.
Yadav tendered his resignation to the Parliament Secretariat recently, Dilli Malla, a press advisor to Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara told Republica.
Yadav was elected to the lower house of the parliament from Saptari Constituency No. 1 under the first-past-the-post system.
