Late leader GP Koirala remembered

INARUWA, March 21: The Inaruwa town committee of the Nepali Congress has distributed fruits to the patients at district hospital Inaruwa on the occasion of a fifth memorial day of late leader of Nepali Congress Girija Prasad Koirala.

Nepali Congress Inaruwa party secretary Kedar Bhandari said that they distributed fruits to some 35 patients at the hospital.


Meanwhile, Nepal Press Union Chitwan Chapter has provided fruits and lunch to street children who were kept at Hamro Ghar, Narayangadh.

The Union has provided financial support to the Hamro Ghar. On the same occasion, coordinator of the NPU in the far western development region Lal Bahadur Airi, district chair Narayan Adhikari and other journalists have said the late leader Koirala was a towering figure of the Nepali politics.

His role in the establishment of peace, restoration of democracy and ushering the country in republic is unrivalled, they added. RSS
