BAJURA, July 10: Monsoon-triggered landslides that started since Sunday night have threatened the lives of Bamka Bazaar in the district.
As many as 20 businessmen have been displaced from the rural market due to landslides.
Bazaar has been left threatened after Budhiganga River continued eroding the banks of the river.
A total of 110 businessmen had been doing businesses of different sorts at Bamka Bazaar.
Bamka is the third largest market after Martadi and Kolti.
Tradres including Surje Saud, Tek Bahadur Budha, Gajendrea Shah, Indra Bhandari, Jaheri Nepali, Chaite Nepali, Range Nepali, Bajure Nepali, Soni Dhami, Gangaraj Giri, Dharma Budha, Dhan Bahadur Saud, Sarjan Budha, Gagan Sadu, Pawan Budha have been displaced by the landslides.
