Landslide damages cargo truck at Rasuwa check point

RASUWA, August 18: Landslides triggered by monsoon rains have damaged cargo containers being parked at the Rasuwa custom yard on Thursday night.

RASUWA, August 18: Landslides triggered by monsoon rains have damaged a cargo container being parked at the Rasuwa custom yard on Thursday night.


According to District Police Office, Rasuwa, the cargo truck, Na 2 Kha 4694, loaded with readymade goods, sustained damages after the landslides hit it on the custom premises.

Over 20 cargo trucks had been parked at the custom yard.


Road stretching from Tatopati to Rasuwagadhi has been blocked due to landslides.


Rasuwagadhi Hydro Project and China government are currently working to clear the debris.


As many as 20 cargo trucks had been damaged by the landslides last year.
