Land surveyor arrested with Rs 100,000 in bribe

GAUSHALA, Nov 22: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Office Bardibas on Monday arrested a land surveyor with the Mahottari District Land Survey Office along with a bribe amounting to Rs 100,000. 

The anti-corruption watchdog arrested Santosh Kumar Mahaseth of Gaushala Municipality and working at the Survey Office at Jaleshwor, CIAA Office, Bardibas said. 
A team led by Acting Chief of CIAA Office, Bardibas Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Ram Kumar Lamsal, arrested Mahaseth red handed while heading out of the office with the bribe. 

Mahaseth had asked for the bribe with the service recipients in order to finalize the division of the ancestral property. RSS
