UDAYAPUR, June 10 : A jeep carrying the Chief of the Land Revenue Office, Udayapur, Duvidra Prasad Baral, met with an accident on Tuesday morning, injuring four people including the driver.
The accident occurred at 7:30 am on a downhill curve at Nagbeli along the Mirkuchi–Nepaltar section of the Madan Bhandari Highway.

According to eyewitnesses, the Bolero jeep (State 1 Ja 485), registered to the Land Revenue Office, lost control and veered off the road.
Among the injured are driver Jeet Bahadur Karki, 50, Kharidar Tejnarayan Sah, 35, Sarita Bhandari, 40, of Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-5, and her daughter, 17, Sanrachana Bhandari.
The accident occurred as the team, including Officer Baral, was returning to the district headquarters Gaighat early in the morning after official duties at Udayapurgadhi.
The injured were initially taken to the District Hospital, Udayapur. As the condition of driver Karki and staffer Sah was critical, they were referred to Biratnagar for further treatment at around 10:30 am. The woman and the child are undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
