KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Leadership Academy Nepal (LAN) on Wednesday launched a week-long Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) in collaboration with Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business Executive Education.
ELDP is a flagship training program of the graduate school whereby forty owners, Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), and senior managers from banking, insurance, hospitality, telecom, and other sectors are trained to transform the advanced leadership and strategic management capabilities.

At the program, Associate Dean for Innovation Initiatives and Executive Director of Executive Education at Rice Business School, Michael Koeing said that the program aims to set a benchmark as the high-skill learning and development accelerator for Nepal and South Asia.
“A deliberate aim of the partnership between LAN and Rice Business School is for LAN to serve as a hub for thought leadership,” he said.
Similarly, Chairman and CEO of Asian Institute of Technology and Management, Sriram Bhagut Mathe stressed the importance of building effective and adaptive business leaders through high-quality teaching.
Starting in 2019, LAN and Rice Business School will offer online and blended education, training and programming for senior to mid-level and young emerging business professionals.
