KATHMANDU, July 6: The 11th South Asian Games (SAG) gold medalist Sunil Lama and bronze medalist Parshuram Bastola won bronze medals in the 19th Central England Open Karate Championship in England.

Sunil bagged bronze in the 67 kg kumite section and Parshuram in men's singles kata section. Players of England and Ireland won gold and silver respectively in 67 kg kumite, while players of the Netherlands and the UK claimed gold and silver in the singles kata sections.
Both Lama and Bastola are members of the national squad under National Sports Council.
