KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Nepali embassy in Kuwait has requested the government there to make it mandatory for each Kuwaiti agent to recruit at least one Napali staff in their office to facilitate communication and report the details of Nepali workers arrivals to the mission.

Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the mission said it has also asked the Kuwait government not to issue entry visas -- visas to be issued to Nepali workers -- if those agencies failed to furnish detail about the Nepali staffs at their offices to the mission.[break]

The mission has also asked local sponsors and agents to contact at Nepali mission to ensure authenticity of character reports of workers issued by Nepal Police as such documents are found fake.

Nepali mission made the request to Kuwait, on the back of rising number of Nepali domestic helps in Kuwait despite ban on export of Nepalis to the Gulf countries, including Kuwait, to work as domestic helps.
