KATHMANDU, May 4: Singer Kuma Sagar and the Khwopa Band successfully concluded their musical tour in Australia.


Organized by YNY Events in Sydney, the “Hawako Lahar Sangai Australia Tour 2025” began on March 24, 2025, in Sydney and continued through Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, and Perth, with the final performance held in Melbourne on April 14, 2025.

Kuma Sagar became the first Nepali singer to perform at the historic Enmore Theatre in Newtown, Sydney. According to Pragya Amatya Bhandari, Managing Director of YNY Events, the show was a historic event and one of the top three performances by a Nepali artist in Sydney.


Additionally, Kuma Sagar became the first Nepali singer to have a live recording at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, operated by the New South Wales government, marking a milestone as Nepali music entered Australia's international art collection.
