Koshi govt committed to hilly region's development: CM Karki

DHANKUTA, March 26: The chief minister (CM) of Koshi Province, Kedar Karki, has asserted that the Koshi government is committed to the development of the hilly areas in the province.

DHANKUTA, March 26: The chief minister (CM) of Koshi Province, Kedar Karki, has asserted that the Koshi government is committed to the development of the hilly areas in the province.  


Chief Minister Karki, who arrived at the Koshi Province Chief Minister Contact Office, Dhankuta, for a Cabinet meeting, shared that the government's policy would be reformed as development activities should be connected with the people.

During a meeting with Dhankuta-based journalists, he mentioned that though the erstwhile provincial governments had established a contact office in Dhankuta, the contact office was not brought into operation.


CM Karki stressed that the contact office would now be put to use on a regular basis. CM Karki is scheduled to participate in various programs to be organized in Dhankuta today, said Karki's Press advisor, Leela Ballav Ghimire.
