KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), an organization commissioned to promote the country’s tourism, in association with TravTalk, has conducted a webinar to promote its tourist destinations among Nepali travelers.

The webinar organized last week highlighted the regions of Korea that would be ideal for Nepali travelers. Speaking at the webinar, Young Geul Choi, deputy director at KTO’s New Delhi Office, said as the world starts to get back to normal and international travel resumes slowly, it is the best time to update the Nepali travel industry on the latest tourism products of South Korea.

“Once travel begins, the Nepali travel trade industry will be able to recommend Korea to clients with confidence,” he said, “I also look forward to working with Nepal Tourism Board. I hope that once regular flights resume, we can organize a KTO road show where Korea suppliers can directly meet Nepal travel agents.”

Basant Raj Mishra, a board member of NTB, said that it was the right time to promote tourist destinations in different countries and plan for the post-COVID-19 tourism activities. “Korea and Nepal have good relationships which need to be flourished through activities like these,” he further added.
