Korean Embassy hosts K-Culture performance to mark 50 years of diplomatic ties with Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 4: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Nepal by organizing the 2024 K-Culture Performance in Kathmandu on Wednesday, October 2.


According to a press statement issued by the embassy, the event showcased a dynamic fusion of Korea’s traditional dance and drum music, integrated with high-tech media elements, creating an immersive cultural experience. The performance, led by Korea’s renowned SDG Crew, combined traditional artistry with modern technology, including state-of-the-art projections, lighting, and sound.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Devraj Ghimire, highlighted the strong ties between Nepal and Korea, which span sectors such as tourism, trade, investment, health, and climate issues. He congratulated the people of both nations on this milestone anniversary.
