Addressing a program in Biratnagar, Koirala commented that Maoists want to prolong the tenure of CA to allow themselves time for more corruption and said the Supreme Court ruling against another term extension of CA should be followed by all.
She also warned that going against the SC decision would jeopardize democracy and said her party has consistently been holding firm against the idea of giving the CA yet another lease of life.
"Our president (Sushil Koirala) has already made it clear that NC is against extending the CA term," she said, adding, "And this will be our party´s final stance."
