Talking to media persons at a function organized by Reporters´ Club Nepal at his residence, Koirala hailed Tuesday´s development as a breakthrough in the peace process.
"It is a big step taken by the Maoist leadership to allow the Nepal Army (NA) to take charge of the Maoist cantonments,” said Koirala, “And, all political parties, including the Nepali Congress, welcome this development.”
Koirala said he is hopeful that Senior Vice Chairman of the Maoist party Mohan Baidya would support the peace process and constitution writing.
