KATHMANDU, July 1: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has dismantled the concrete structures that were erected at Khulla Manch.
Bijay Shrestha, a campaigner from Occupy Tudikhel, revealed that the Chinese-made concrete structure was removed during the construction of Durbar High School. The process of removing the concrete structures at Khulla Manch has been underway for the past week.

"We have successfully removed all the concrete structures on the western side of Khulla Manch," stated Shrestha. "Next, we will proceed to remove the remaining structures on the eastern side, ensuring that Khulla Manch is free from concrete."
Furthermore, Shrestha mentioned that the concrete removed from Khulla Manch will be transported to Kirtipur Municipality. Additionally, the municipality is currently undertaking efforts to convert the muddy roads into concrete paths.
Shrestha expressed that despite their attempts to remove these concrete structures a year ago, they have now achieved their goal successfully.
