KMC Senior Law Officer Ghimire accuses Mayor Balen of mental torture

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Sasmita Ghimire, a senior law officer at the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has accused Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) of subjecting her to mental torture.

Ghimire has announced through social media that she has started legal proceedings against Mayor Shah for alleged mistreatment and being unfairly relieved of her responsibilities.

She said that under Mayor Shah's administration, she was sidelined and deprived of her duties without justification. She stated that she was not even provided with a chair to sit in the office.
