KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started removing the footpath businesses in the Ason area.
The metropolis has started removing the roadside shops in Indrachok, Ason, Bhedasingh and other areas.

The metropolis had given a deadline of 24 hours on Sunday and told the owners of such shops to remove the shops. The KMC itself started removing the shops as even after 24 hours, they did not remove the shops as requested by the metropolis.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has launched a drive to remove the illegal shops on the footpaths.
