The Samaj publicized the group of over 400 members Security Mechanism and Youth Squad. The security mechanism comprises former Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force personnel.
According to Central President of KCES Yuvraj Karki, the security mechanism also includes former army personnel serving in British and Indian Army. He also said that they plan to bring the disqualified Maoist combatants under the umbrella of the Samaj.
According to the Samaj, over 500 hundreds members are in the security mechanism and some 600 members in Youth Squad in Sunsari district. The Samaj plans to form security mechanism and youth squad in all 16 districts in Eastern Development Region within next three weeks.
Karki said the forces were formed to safeguard Nepal should an environment of confusion and anarchy prevail if the government failed to promulgate constitution on May 28. "They are not directed against any caste groups," he said.
