According to UML politburo member Prakash Jwala, Khanal informed the South African president about the progress made in constitution writing and peace process in Nepal.
President Zuma briefed the Nepali delegation about the progress made by his country mainly after the successful completion of the peace process following the liberation of South Africa.
“President Zuma said the trilateral agreement reached among the AFC, South African Communist Party and Trade Unionist Party was the cornerstone of the progress made by the country,” he said.
Khanal told Juma that Nepal has learnt lessons from South Africa´s experience of the constitution writing and peace process.
