KATHMANDU, June 3: Nepal national cricket team captain Paras Khadka has been appointed as Brand Ambassador of Himalayan WhiteHouse International College based in Kathmandu. The announcement was made at an event held on Sunday at Nepal Academy in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed between skipper Khadka and college president Yuvraj Sharma on the occasion about running a cricket academy in Duwakot, Bhaktapur.
Cricketer Khadka appointed brand ambassador
Khadka, himself being a former student of the college (2003-2005), expressed happiness to become its ‘brand ambassador for the promotion of the quality education being provided by the college.’
The college will facilitate Khadka with an annual remuneration as well as support him during his international games. Further, the college will provide him full scholarship for an EMBA course.
Himalayan college, which is also a co-owner of CYC Attariya that made a maiden victory in the Dhangadhi Premier League season 3 earlier this year, has been actively working for the promotion of cricket in the country in recent years.
