Katwal assigned new Saptari CDO

KATHMANDU, March 7: The Home Ministry has assigned Krishna Bahadur Katwal as the new Chief District Officer of Saptari.

KATHMANDU, March 7: The Home Ministry has assigned Krishna Bahadur Katwal as the new Chief District Officer of Saptari. 


Spokesperson at the Ministry, Bal Krishna Panthi, said that Katwal, CDO of Arghakhanchi, has been transferred to Saptari.

Similarly, Superintendent of Police of Nepal Police, Anurag Dwibedi, has been assigned as Chief of Nepal Police in the district while Superintendent of Police of the Armed Police Force, Ram Adhar Jha, has been deputed as the Chief of the APF in Saptari district. 


Earlier this morning, the Ministry had called back CDO of Saptari, Uddhav Timilsina, SP of Nepal Police, Dibas Lohani, and APF SP Jay Bahadur Khadka to Kathmandu. 


Three cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front were killed in police firing that took on Monday following a clash between UDMF cadres and police in course of the mass meeting organised by the CPN (UML) in the district under its Mechi-Mahakali Campaign. RSS
