22,124 people diagnosed with COVID-19 in Valley as of today


KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The Kathmandu Valley's coronavirus-related death toll climbed to 134 as a woman from Bhaktapur died of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday .

The deceased has been identified as a 51-year-old female from Bhaktapur, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). 


Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley’s COVID-19 case tally reached 22,124 today with 817 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.


According to data maintained by the MoHP, 649 people in Kathmandu, 36 in Bhaktapur and 132 in Lalitpur districts were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours. 


Of the newly-infected people in the Valley, 301 are females and 516 are males. The Valley saw 18 fatalities related to COVID-19 in the Valley in the past 5 days.
