Subash Khakurel and Rupesh Shrivastav shaped the victory for Kathmandu in the practice match played at the TU Ground, Kirtipur. Subash contributed 68 runs while Kathmandu successfully chased 187 runs target in 30.5 overs. Subash faced 33 balls and hit 11 fours and 2 sixes during his attacking knock. [break]
Suman Uday contributed 42 runs while Rupesh remained unbeaten on 14 runs. Sandeep Yadav scored 17 runs while Pramod Basnet added 15 runs. Geog Browne and Jikoi Kida took two wickets each.
Earlier, Fiji elected to bat after winning the toss and put up 186 runs on the board in the limited 50 overs losing their six wickets. Kida scored 50 and Jo Debeaa added 31 before they both were retired out. Fiji were 51-5 at one point of time but Kida and Debeaa contributed an 87-run partnership to take Fiji towards a respectable total.

Rupesh bowled a maiden over and took 3 wickets in his 10 overs conceding 39 runs. Ujwal Thapa took two wickets for Nepal while Pramod took a wicket.
The Fiji team arrived in Kathmandu on Friday and will take on the US on February 20 in the first match of the Division 5.
