Kathmandu eased past Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City in the final in straight sets (25-20, 28-26, 25-18) for the title. With the win, Kathmandu also bagged a purse of Rs 30,000 while Pokhara had to be content with Rs 20,000.
In the match for the third place, Damak Municipality recorded a comfortable win over Panauti Municipality in straight sets (25-22, 25-15, 25-17). Damak received a cash prize of Rs 15,000.
Im Rana of Kathmandu was declared the all rounder of the tournament and best spiker while his teammate Sanjay Aryal was awarded best blocker. Bishnu Panta of Madhyapur Thimi, Tahal Singh of Pokhara and Dhruba Poudel of Damak were awarded with the best setter, defender and server respectively.
The tournament was organized by Nepal Volleyball Association under the sponsorship of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
