KATHMANDU, Dec 18: Karnali Yaks posted 175 for the loss of 6 wickets against Chitwan Rhinos in the eliminator match of the NPL underway at Kirtipur cricket ground.
Karnali’s opener Jayakrishna Kolsawala hammered 53 off 39 balls while Will Basisto hit 52 off 37 balls and Chadwik Walton chipped in 46 off 23 balls to help the Yaks put an imposing total.

Basisto and Walton scored 67 runs off 29 balls while Rijan Dhakal conceded 21 runs in one over in the 18th over. Karnali’s Rit Gautam and Gulshan Jha returned to the pavilion without scoring while Zeshan Maqsood scored 14.
The winner of the eliminator round will progress to play the second qualifier tomorrow. The winner will meet the loser of the first qualifier to be played later this afternoon.
