They demonstrated in Ghorahi on Sunday as the 35-day deadline given by the District Forest Office to evacuate the area approached.
Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has already protested the decision.
The Freed Kamaiya Society organized a program on Sunday and insisted that the area would not be evacuated unless the government manages resettlement for them.
They have warned of strong retaliation if the government used force to evict them.
