KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The Nepalese Army has airlifted seven people injured in the Kalikot jeep accident. An army helicopter, dispatched from Surkhet, airlifted the injured individuals and brought them to the provincial capital Surkhet for treatment.
The accident occurred at around 2:30 pm on Sunday in Raduneta of Palanta Rural Municipality-4, Kalikot, when a jeep with registration number Ka 1 Ja 56 veered off the road.

According to Kalikot's Chief District Officer, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, the accident resulted in seven fatalities. Based on eyewitness accounts, the jeep, carrying 20 passengers reportedly plunged 500 meters down the road into a river.
