Kadel, Nakarmi off to France under Carlsberg scheme

KATHMANDU, June 16: Two winners of the Carlsberg 'Live it Live' promotion campaign -- Naba Raj Kadel and Om Karesh Nakarmi --left for France on Friday to watch a live match of UEFA Euro Championship. The duo will watch Italy's group stage match against Sweden on Friday to be played at Stadium Municipal in Toulouse, reads a statement issued by Carlsberg. 

According to the press statement, the duo will also get a chance to present the Carlsberg man-of-the-match award and enjoy the UEFA club hospitality. 
“Carlsberg has made my ultimate dream come true through this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to France to watch a match of the UEFA Euro 2016 and also present Carlsberg man-of-the-match award,” the statement quoted Kadel as saying.

Nakarmi further added, “Every fan wants to be a part of this extraordinary journey and I am very thankful to Carlsberg for giving us this first-of-its-kind opportunity. This is simply remarkable for a Nepali football fan.”

Similarly, the remaining eight winners will be travelling to watch the Iceland vs Austria match LIVE on June 22. This two-month long campaign that started in March, provided consumers with an incredible line-up of exciting activities. 

The Euro 2016 kicked off on June 10 and finishes on July 10. The tournament featuring 24 teams will feature 51 matches and is staged in 10 different cities across France.
