The main opposition Nepali Congress has staged protests across the country against the government’s authoritarian and undemocratic decisions. In Kathmandu, the protest rally started from Bhotahity.The rally passed through Asan, Indrachowk, Bishal Bazar, New Road and reached Shanti Batika and converted into corner meeting. Kathmandu based lawmakers and leaders addressed the mass.
Three people have died and another one sustained severe injuries after a container van, Na 6 Kha 4929, met with an accident in Gosainkunda rural municipality-5 of the district.The container van was enroute to Rasuwagadhi from Dhunche. According to Krishna Poudel, Chief District Officer (CDO), the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
The Home Ministry of Malaysia will brief the Cabinet on Friday (Aug 3) over the Nepalese government's decision to bar its workers from coming to Malaysia. The Malaysian Human Resources Minister M.
