KATHMANDU, March 11: Pramila Yadav has also filed her candidacy for the post of Vice President on behalf of Janata Samajwadi Party. 

On Saturday, She reached the Federal Parliament House, Baneshwar and fielded her candidacy for the vice presidency.

The proponents of Pramila Yadav include Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav, Nawal Kishore Shah, Deepak Karki, Ranju Jha, Raj Kishor Yadav and the supporters are Anita Devkota, Sita Gurung, Birendra Mahato, Manish Kumar Suman, Sushila Shrestha.

There are two nominations from JSP for the position of Vice President. Earlier, JSP Parliamentary Party leader Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav had filed his candidacy for the post of Vice President.

His proponents include JSP leaders Ashok Kumar Rai, Pradeep Yadav, Kishan Shrestha, Shakti Basnet, Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi, while his supporters include Rekha Yadav, Ambika Kafle, Prakash Jwala, Khimlal Devkota, Bhanubhakta Joshi.

Mamta Jha of the Janamat Party has also registered her candidacy from the ruling coalition. Ashta Lakshmi Shakya has registered her candidacy from CPN-UML. The Election Commission (EC) has set a deadline for today to register nominations for the post of vice president. Four candidates have fielded their nomination for the post.
