KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) led by Ashok Rai has forged a working alliance with the Rastriya Mukti Party led by Rajendra Mahato.
They announced the working alliance at a program in the federal capital, Kathmandu, on Thursday.

As per the alliance, the parties will foster coordination for visibility of their programs through the media. They would abide by the code of conduct, directives, and decisions made by the province and district coordination committees of both parties.
At the program, JSP Chairman Rai said the political parties having similar thoughts should collaborate, coordinate, and form unity for political polarization and protection of the political achievements made so far.
Chairman of Rastriya Mukti Party, Rajendra Mahato, viewed the unity among all communities living in the mountains, hills, and Terai as something that could help ensure national prosperity. He shared that the working alliance between the two parties would finally result in party unification.
As per the alliance, both parties have urged their leaders and cadres not to comment against the alliance policy. In the joint program to be held by them, the leaders should share views on objectives, policy, and programs relating to the working alliance.
