KATHMANDU, April 4: A meeting of the central working committee (CWC) of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal commenced at the party’s central office at Balkumari, Lalitpur this morning.
JSP not to join the govt anytime soon
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the selection of a lawmaker under the proportional representation quota, said Purna Basnet, the chief of the JSP's central publicity and publications department. He said the party will recommend the name of the new lawmaker to the seat that fell vacant following the death of Manju Sharma Ansari, who was elected by the party under the quota before this.
According to him, the meeting will also discuss the upcoming by-elections to be held in April as well as the party's national convention, among other topics.
