KATHMANDU, March 13: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) central committee meeting in Kathmandu that started today (Sunday) will discuss the party's participation in the upcoming local elections, said Dambar Khatiwada, chief of the party’s Publicity Department.
He said that the local election directive would be presented at the meeting and it would be discussed and passed. Khatiwada said that the internal organizational issues of the party would also be discussed in the meeting.
JSP signals exit from ruling coalition
Khatiwada said, "We will discuss some specific agendas in today's meeting." This meeting will continue till tomorrow. It has four main agendas. The first agenda is how the party will participate in the upcoming local elections.
“The second agenda will be some organizational proposals related to the internal organizational issues of our party. Third, we will pass a resolution on the current political situation in the country,” he said.
Khatiwada said that the political and current issues of the country would also be discussed in the two-day meeting of the Central Committee.
