KATHMANDU, March 22: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has called a meeting of the party's executive committee to discuss the by-elections to be held on 23rd April.

KATHMANDU, March 22: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has called a meeting of the party's executive committee to discuss the by-elections to be held on 23rd April.


Shivlal Thapa, a member of the JSP executive committee, said that a meeting of the executive committee has been called at the party office in Balkumari on Wednesday at 1PM.

It is said that in today's meeting, the party's nominations for the by-elections in three constituencies under the House of Representatives will be discussed. The schedule for registering nominations for the by-elections on 23rd April has been fixed.


It is said that JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav will contest in the by-election from Bara constituency no. 2.


Similarly, in the meeting of the executive committee, the party's participation in the council of ministers and the legislative session will also be discussed. Although JSP has already decided to participate in the government, the party will also discuss who will be made minister and how many people will be sent to the government from the party.
