Journalist Yogi attacked in Kalanki

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Bimal Yogi, a correspondent with the Sourya Daily, sustained serious injury in an incident of attack occurred at Kalanki in the capital last night.



A taxi driver roughed up journalist Yogi while he was standing nearby Makalu Petrol Pump at Kalanki at 8.00 PM on Friday. [break]



Journalist Yogi sustained serious injury to his head in the attack by taxi driver Rajan Basnet, a local of Narayani VDC of Nawalparasi district, said Deputy Superintendant of Police at Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, Yagyabinod Pokharel.



Taxi driver Basent bounced on me for not using his taxi (Ba 1 Ja 7817) due to disagreement on fair, Yogi said.
