News coordinator of Ganatantra FM, Dharan, Nischal Thapa Magar, 27, was killed when a picnic bus hit his motorcycle at Belbari, Morang. His technician colleague Bal Krishna Bantawa has been taken to Siliguri, India, for treatment.
Police arrested 36-year-old driver of the bus Dhan Bahadur Rai, who was trying to flee. Likewise, ranger at the Bhedetar Range Post Pramod Kamat died in Khanar-6, Sunsari, when his motorcycle was hit by a truck. Police have impounded the truck and arrested its driver Jagat Magar, 38, of Basantapur-8, Dhankuta.
