The site is a perfect detour for nature aficionados. As the name suggests, there are two ponds within a close range. Jorpokhari is located at a distance of one and half an hour from Phidim. It also consists of several temples of the Kirat and Hindu significance. However, the reduction of the water level of the pond has currently been concerning the locality. Nonetheless, the locals are working to find a solution to sustain the eco-system of the ponds. Their preservation attempt has led to development activities in the vicinity. Also, the area has a convenient hospitality facility as it is situated next to Mechi Highway.
